Stops, Clues, and Tasks

1. Bewdley Museum

"Past lives and trades within these walls, where history speaks, and memory calls. Your journey begins, but don’t delay—find the stone mill that grinds away!"

Task: Find the old stone mill in the museum courtyard and take a group photo imitating its circular motion.

2. The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens

"A royal tribute with flowers galore, where nature’s beauty is hard to ignore. Search near a bench where a story’s been told, the next clue is hidden—be bold!"

Task: Find a plaque with a royal mention and recite the words aloud in your best “royal accent.”

3. Bewdley Bridge

"Over the Severn, the arches rise, connecting the town beneath the skies. Count each arch and note it down; your answer’s the key to the next round."

Task: Count the number of arches on Bewdley Bridge and use this number to unlock a small combination padlock.

4. St. Anne’s Church

"Up on the hill with bells that chime, this sacred spot has stood through time. Find the stained glass that tells a tale—what colors dominate this holy trail?"

Task: Identify the two most prominent colors in the stained glass and write them down to receive your next clue.

5. Severn Valley Railway Station

"Steam trains puff, and whistles blow, a railway hub from long ago. Look for the ticket that’s out of date; it holds the clue to your next fate!"

Task: Take a creative team photo pretending to board a vintage train.

6. Riverside Walk (near the Bandstand)

"Beside the Severn, music once played, where the bandstand’s charm has never decayed. Find a lyric carved into stone—it leads to the treasure you’ll call your own."

Task: Sing the first line of the carved lyric aloud as a team in public to earn your next clue.

7. Bewdley Brewery

"A local spot for hops and cheer, where craft and flavor are brewed right here. Ask for a riddle to keep you on track; solve it to earn the next clue back!"

Task: Visit the brewery, ask the staff for a riddle, and solve it to get your next clue.

8. The Mug House Inn

"This riverside inn has stories to tell, of food, drink, and lodgers as well. Your treasure awaits where the ale does flow, under the sign with the mugs in tow."
